Internships
Objectives for Marketing Intern
Exposure may include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Learn strategies for business and market development in a financial services sales environment.
- Support image building efforts for our firm and financial representatives using Corporate and locally-developed marketing resources.
- Develop competencies in executing marketing strategies, campaigns and programs.
- Identify cultivation opportunities for the firm's unassigned client base.
- Become familiar with marketing tracking techniques.
- Assist in the execution of event planning for clients and prospects.
- Work with individual producers or members of management on special marketing and/or recruiting projects.
Desired Attributes:
- Marketing, Finance, Business, or Financial Services Major
- Junior or Senior
- Computer skills necessary (MS Office: Excel, Powerpoint, Word)/ MS Access a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, positive attitude, task oriented, creative, organized
- Minimum GPA 3.0
